I got to go on an exchange in Kerrville AND I got to got with Hermana Pugmire! This was so amazing! I am so glad that we got to be together again even if it was only 24 hours. And I got to go to Kerrville, my first area again. I got to see Sonny the person I help to be converted and baptized, and just loved going back. It was just so surreal to go into the apartment I had begun my mission in. It was so neat because I could just envision me, 8 months ago, sitting at that study desk thinking I could never do this, and now here I am, a better version or myself. It was just a beautiful experience.
Mangonadas! It is pureed mango with sugar, water, chamoy pulpa (a chili sauce), chili powder, and fresh mango on the top. It was so good! Wow!

We went over to Sister Jasso's home and painted her nails and joked with her and sang songs to her until she fell asleep. It was such a beautiful experience. God loves each of His children and cares deeply for them.
I am learning that God leads us to a lot of "no's" so He knows we will listen when He gives us a "yes". He needs to know we can trust Him and the voice of His Spirit. He sends us to people and places that may not seem to be "fruitful" or that have positive results but that is just preparing us for the yes! By following through on every "No" we will eventually qualify for the "Yes". I don't know if that makes sense, but I really love the concept.
